Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School is a only private Christian school. Ward went to Ouachita parish high school to complete her secondary schooling. After that, she attended River Oaks High School the summer after her senior year. Following her graduation, Ward briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward started modeling when she was thirteen. She left school to move in New York. She tried her hand in acting a few years later. She was first cast uncredited in the 1970s on the soap-opera All My Children. Later she was a part of the NBC's prime-time drama for teens, Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin at Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, she began a film career. She starred on The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The character of Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 as she was the mother of a teenage girl in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It.
